Save a Leg Save a Life

I belong to this organization called SALSAL.
This is their website.

On January 6, 2014, Jared Page, one of the members of SALSAL, Kang Ho, another SALSAL member and I met at the Sugarmill Restaurant in downtown Denver to discuss this year's plans. The latest activity we are hosting will be the fundraiser this February. I donated a $60 from Sugarmill for our auction, which is part of our fundraiser.

This year, we will have seminars that are free to the public. The audience are mostly nurses, doctors and student nurses. The topics covered are lower extremity issues such as lymphedema, diabetic foot ulcers, and the like. Our speakers are nurses, PTs, doctors, and other clinicians. The seminars are usually one hour long. It is not an advertisement/educational offering. The discussions are purely clinical and they do not seek to market any product or service.

I am excited to be part of this non-profit organization. We have many activities lined up for this year. Many nurses and nursing students are already looking forward to our educational offerings this year.
